Date Change

Not sure if we mentioned it early on in the blog, but we had 2 ultrasounds done originally, one to confirm the pregnancy and one to get a more accurate date. At the first one, the doctor gave us the November 21st date. At the 2nd ultrasound we were told November 18th, but since the dates were so close they would stick with the 21st.

Well it appears that in this last week or so the doctor has switched it up on us and is now working with the November 18th date. So here today on the 19th, instead of being 2 days away from being full-term, we are now (according to the doctor this morning) 1 day overdue!

As a result I have reset the countdown clock on the top right of the blog.

We have Thanksgiving coming up this week, but we are booked into the hospital on Friday morning for non-stress testing, which is basically some more closer monitoring of the baby and any contractions that might be happening to make sure everything is still going well.

If we make it as far as next Monday, the 26th, there is a chance they will begin the process of inducing labor.
