have baby, will travel...

this is going to be one well traveled baby even before it's born!

in the past few months we've traveled to memphis tennessee, sacramento, san francisco, san diego, philadelphia pennsylvania, atlantic city new jersey, red bank new jersey, and this past week, chicago illinois. we're hopeful for a trip to australia soon too. the best part of traveling with baby at this point, no worries about crying, diaper changes, or the price of another plane ticket.

things have been going along very well lately. the morning sickness i had experienced has passed for the most part. i'm still craving fresh fruit, but have branched out to other things as well... pizza, steak, and popsicles. i am also rather sure that i've felt the baby move. the doctor says that it will feel very light and 'butterfly-ish' - and after a few weeks of *thinking* that i may feel something, this last week those butterfly feelings have gotten a lot more distinct. i reported my news to craig, and he suggested that i report here as well to share the news with everyone. we go for our mid-pregnancy ultrasound this coming monday and i'm very excited. i am looking forward at getting another good look at wiggly since he's been growing this whole time. we're not finding out if wiggly is a he, or a she - we still want to be surprised. this fact seems to annoy some of my coworkers who want to buy cute girl, or boy, clothes now. for them, i suggest to wait till wiggly makes his, or her, appearance... or just buy what they want to and hope for the best.

as a side note - i was the photographer of the week 18 baby bump. i was aiming for a general view for reference, not to show off my assets as some may have assumed. *cough*vonda*cough* :)
